It should be no surprise to most that I was awake for the entire Olympic Opening Ceremony... moreover, I was awake still when they showed it a second time around 2 something in the morning. When I finally went to sleep, I had an interesting dream that I was in the stands watching the show. The dream was of everyone leaving and I was walking out along with the rest of the crowd. I looked around at the people and the place and eventually looked down. There on the ground was a folded fortune cookie paper. I picked it up,and after reading the fortune, I woke up.

Its not surprising that the program that I sat for hours watching managed to enter my dreams, but the fortune was interesting.

I saw Pineapple Express with a friend and it was fairly funny. I had a minimum expectation after seeing the preview but decided to give it a try after laughing nearly non-stop at Knocked Up. (which also looked more stupid than it actually was) While it wasn't as funny as Knocked Up, it was still entertaining and the company was quite nice.

I had one of those dreams last night. It concerned two people and one of those originally seemed to have my best interests in mind but as the dream progressed it was obvious that he did not. He became very angry when I would not do something that he wanted (change in a way he wanted) and I awoke with our argument fresh in my mind.

I do believe that was part of my difficulties with this person. He did want me to change to best suit him and my own wishes were not important if they conflicted with his.

The other person in the dream was not very noticible. He was behaving interested and concerned but it seemed to be something that he felt he was expected to be which is how he goes through life.

Neither person was very concerned about me at all. I suppose that was the point.

In an earlier dream in the same night I spent most of the dream half blind. (my left eye) I was very calm and practical about the whole situation and through the course of the dream knew that if I took the right steps it could be fixed.
