The expansion has been taking up a fair amount of my time the last few days. I have to say that I'm enjoying it far more than the expansions of games past. Blizzard seems to have taken into account lag and the massive population overload that is going to be in the starting zones. (Of which there are two) The main disappointment I see for the Lich King is the lack of content for people who are not 70. The previous expansion at least gave people, who had not reached the top, end new races to play and places to explore.
But, I am 70, or well 71 now and I will take my entertainment where I can get it and at will feel better knowing that all those mid level people now have complete zones that are blessedly empty of other people taking the things they need for quests.
I did not take many pictures from the Borean Tundra which is where I started. I wish I had found a few good places for pictures. For instance, I love the Tuskar, they remind me of the Ulthork from EverQuest but far more cute.
These are from the other side though:
On the Boat
Fi on the Boat
Serene winter scene Notice no people! It seems they were all on the other side.
We then went on a quest to get to Dalaran:
Along the way there was a lovely forest. The Azure Front
We did indeed end up in Dalaran on Thursday right before sleeping.
I took some screenshots before they were impossible to get without 40 million people in the shot.

I would post pictures from the Nexus but I am just too tired and its time to get some sleep.

Random bits of things throughout my day...
- Quote for today: "void walker says no."
- Watching the beginning of Heroes that I missed while at work on Monday.
- I awoke a bit ago from a nightmare. Not so fun.
- At game night: according to a friend, LA Confidential is the best vampire movie ever.
This was in a conversation about void walkers being named by their owners. I was saying that the reason they came with names already and you weren't allowed to choose them was because you were summoning a demon who exists on another plane not taming an animal. He already has a name and I doubt he'd take kindly to being called Fluffykins. At which point,

I give you the Ancient Ritual of the Dancing Cats.
Dancing Cats
Its purpose is to provide good luck, and mild amusement, while once again trying to defeat Nightbane. The Draenei was sacrificed for the good of the raid shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately we did not succeed.
We should sacrifice more Draenei. ;)

So why can I not stay connected if I start out in a major city? Its strange, but if I've been connected for a while then I am usually fine to walk into something with a lot of people but I can't seem to start out there. I have to log into mom's computer and move my character to some remote desert and then start the game up again. I have been trying to remember whether I have ever had this problem while playing elsewhere. I honestly don't think so. Which means...the wireless connection is to blame!
I could get up and go steal my desktop's wired connection to test this theory but I got fairly fed up with trying to connect on various characters, changing add ons, graphic settings etc... I was in a sort of blah mood about playing anyway.
So here instead is a few pictures from Trollbane.

I think I will now go watch a few episodes of House.
